With this awesome vitamin E-rich green shot, you’ll be able to take on the planet. Vitamin E is known as one of nature’s most strong antioxidants, shielding the body from free radicals. It has been shown in studies to be an effective antioxidant in terms of fertility since it protects cell membranes from oxidative harm. Vitamin E also assists in the support of the immune system and the slowing of the ageing process.
Avocados – are amazing and are packed with more than 18 nutrients- including vitamin E, are a good source of healthy monounsaturated fats and contain a small amount of carbohydrate so great for helping balance sugar levels.
Spinach -also provides a good amount of vitamin e, along with folate, vitamin c, vitamin A and iron.
Green apples– packed full of plant chemicals, including the flavonoid quercetin which has anti- inflammatory action. Apples are low in calories, a great source of vitamin c and potassium and also contain pectin, a ‘soluble’ fibre that can help to lower ‘bad’ cholesterol
Ginger– Great for giving shots a kick but also to help alleviate gastrointestinal issues, plays a role in reducing inflammation in the body, supports the immune system, rejuvenates skin and increases energy levels. It also contains anti- microbial properties. Ginger contains many important nutrients and vitamins including vitamin C, B5 and B6, along with a good amount of the mineral’s potassium, manganese, copper, and magnesium.
